Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish was established in July 1962 by the Claretian Missionaries. It is located in Brgy. Townsite Maluso, Basilan Province Maluso, 7303 Philippines. The parish nurtures the Catholic faith in one of the Muslim-dominated municipalities of Basilan. The Claretians envision the Christ-centered community of believers, the church of the poor journeying together in peace, harmony, and love with Christian, Muslim, and other ethnic groups for integral human development in a well-cared environment. The parish is also working to promote dialogue of life for peace and justice and preserve and rehabilitate environmental resources.
