Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As stewards of God’s creation, we are called to care for our common home with responsibility and love. Earth Hour is more than just switching off lights—it is a global movement that invites us to reflect on our role as caretakers of creation. In unity with the Church’s teachings and inspired by our Claretian mission, we invite all members and mission partners to participate in this sacred act of solidarity. Let this moment of darkness ignite a renewed commitment to ecological conversion, mindful stewardship, and advocacy for the preservation of God’s creation. We encourage you to observe Earth Hour in creative and faith-filled ways—through prayer, reflection, and small yet concrete actions that inspire our communities and the world. Together, let us respond to Pope Francis’ call in Laudato Si’, recognizing that “everything is interconnected” and that true care for creation flows from our love of God and neighbor. Let us heed the call of the Gospel and our missionary charism. Let us recognize that every small act of love for creation is a reflection of our love for God and neighbor. May this collective effort deepen our commitment to a world that reflects the beauty and justice of God’s kingdom.
One in mission,
Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province Solidarity and Mission Team
